Fruit Tart


Fruit Tartlet

Ingredients –

            250      gm       Soft flour
            1          tbsp.    Caster sugar
            A pinch of salt
            125      gm       Butter
            1          nos       Egg
            1 – 2    tbsp.    Fresh milk

Method –

  • Add flour and butter together by using “Rub in method”.
  • Beat egg with milk and sugar together in bowl.
  • Add in flour mixture.
  • Rest ½ hour in freeze before start to roll it into shapes.
  • Line a pie shell with this dough.
  • Dock the crust well with a fork to prevent blistering.
  • Bake for 1800c around 10 to 15 minutes.

Pastry cream –
            250      ml        Fresh milk
            1          nos       Egg
            30        gm       Custard powder
            70        gm       Caster sugar
            10        gm       Cornflour
            Vanila esen

       * Add all ingredient into the pot.
  • Boil it with a slow fire until thick.
  • Pour it into the mould tart (already baked) .
  • Decorate before serve with an arrangement of fruits at the top and wipe the apricot glase on the fruits.
Decorations –
            Kiwi, strawberry, mandarin orange, apricot, blueberry, grape etc.

Notes –

  • This recepi can make a 10 to 12 tart shells.
